Bulkey No Touch Sensor is the smallest in the world! Its outer diameter is only 19mm, and the part that is embedded behind the board is less than 22mm. With these small dimensions, it becomes the perfect and convenient sensor for unlocking doors, turning on appliances, turning on/off lighting and much more!

Easy Installation

The Bulkey No Touch Sensor has an extremely easy installation. For your convenience, we offer it in two cases:

• for built-in installation – you only need to drill a hole with a diameter of 16 mm and screw the nut on the back side.
• for wall mounting – if you don’t have the necessary space to drill the hole, then Bulkey No Touch’s metal outer casing is perfect for you. The housing is attached externally with 4 wall screws without unnecessary drilling. Fast and easy!

The dimensions of the Bulkey No Touch Sensor allow it to easily replace existing buttons or switches and thus make them more hygienic and aesthetically pleasing.

Extremely hygienic

Due to the lack of touch, the Bulkey No Touch Sensor is extremely hygienic. It is suitable for use in rooms where there is a large flow of people or in sanitary rooms where hygiene is in the first place. Its typical application is for an exit button when unlocking entrance doors. It is also suitable as a switch for lighting in sanitary rooms in hospitals, polyclinics and other premises.

Adjustable trigger distance

With an additional IR remote, you can quickly and easily change the range of the sensor. It is factory set to 15cm (from 11 to 15cm depending on the reflective surface of the object), but you can change the detection distance from 1 to 15cm. To protect against unauthorized changes to the parameters, each sensor is protected with a 4-digit access password

Adjustable hold time

With the additional IR remote, you can quickly and easily change the holding time as well. That is, how long the sensor output will remain active after detecting an object. It is factory set to 0.5 seconds, but you can change the time from 0.5 to 9 seconds. To protect against unauthorized parameter changes, each sensor is protected with a 4-digit access password

Working principle

The sensor emits a periodic infrared signal and waits to receive it back as a reflected signal from an object (hand) approaching it. The distance at which the sensor reacts to an approaching object depends on the reflective surface of the object, as well as the programmed sensitivity of the sensor.

The detection distance can be adjusted from 1 to 15 cm. It is factory set to 15 cm (from 11 to 15 cm depending on the reflective surface of the object). The sensor has an indicator red LED:
– Illuminates when the sensor output has failed. (no object detected)
– Not lit when the sensor output has been triggered. (object detected)

The sensor has parameters (sensitivity and signal retention time) that can be changed using a special IR remote control (sold separately). To protect against unauthorized parameter changes, each sensor is protected with a 4-digit access password.

Principle of operation of BNTxxS models – typically these models are used to control lighting or other electrical consumers in kitchens or other sanitary premises, where it is not desirable to touch buttons or switches with dirty hands or to be touched by many people. Each time an object (hand) approaches the sensor, it will switch. For example, a hand approach will turn the lights on, and a hand approach again will turn it off. The lack of touch makes it extremely hygienic and is suitable for places where it is used by many people or places such as kitchens or toilets where hands may be dirty or wet. The miniature size of the sensor allows it to be mounted anywhere, and it can even replace existing buttons or switches. The BNT sensor has an indicator light that illuminates continuously and in low light conditions helps orient users to where the unlock sensor is located. The light indication goes out when the sensor is triggered (detects an object), which is a good information for users about its working ability.
